1.) Thrifting clothes at local shops
It’s the first one that comes to mind, but it definitely helps to re-buy clothes instead of throwing them away in a landfill when they are still in good condition. Some thrift stores around here that you can check out are Athens Underground, UpCycle Ohio Thrift Store, New-To-You Thrift Shoppe and Bleeding Heart Boutique.

2.) Buy a needle and thread and learn how to sew
Sewing can open so many doors; you can fix a clothing piece instead of throwing it away, alter a piece you got from a thrift store to fit you and your vision or make your own clothes entirely. While sewing can be a skill that takes time, YouTube has a huge vault of tutorials on how to sew and create clothes as well.
3.) Create your own beauty products with beeswax and natural dyes
You can use a variety of fruits for the natural dye, such as raspberries, blackberries and dragon fruit. Choose one depending on what shade you want.
The recipe that I have found for a tinted balm calls for three ingredients: your chosen fruit, shea butter and beeswax.

First, mash up (or squeeze) your chosen fruit, then drain it using a cheesecloth. Make sure there are no clumps in your juice
Melt two tablespoons of shea butter and one tablespoon of beeswax in a double boiler. Let the mixture cool for a little while
Slowly pour the juice in the mixture.
Stir until the color has dispersed evenly through the mixture.
Put the concoction into your desired container and wait until it hardens. Once it has solidified, you can use it!
4.) Shop ethically!
