The sun is shining, there's a warm breeze blowing and you open your closet to see your winter colors taking over. It's time to defrost your closet with the best spring colors. Finding those perfect transitional colors between winter and summer can be challenging, but I’m here to give you a little guide into the colors that I want to see in your wardrobe this spring season!
Apricot/peachy tone

This orangey-pink color has the essence of everything juicy and sweet. It is soft and pastel but stands out in comparison to other spring colors. Pairing this color with neutrals like a cream or white can elevate and enrich this color. It’s a perfect color to add into your wardrobe, especially as we transition into warmer weather and all the vibrant and bright colors enter their way back into our lives.
Butter yellow

Butter yellow is having its moment as of recent fashion trends, and for good reason. This shade of yellow looks soft as butter. It has a creamy, light element that pairs well with the nature of spring. A perfect color for a monochromatic look. It doesn’t feel too overpowering but still stands out against the skin. Just like spring, this color gives me all the sunny feels.
Lilac

This color feels fresh and clean. What better way to celebrate spring than with some freshness in your wardrobe? It’s delicate, but elegant. Soften this color up with a light sweater and some light blue denim, or add a little lace for a sweet and sexy vibe.
Teal

A classic color. I, like many others, went through a teal phase in my pre-teens. As I’ve entered adulthood, I find myself longing for this color again. It has a bright but rich spirit. Unlike most spring colors, this one is vibrant and bright instead of soft and pastel. Bring some richness into your wardrobe this Spring season with pops of teal.
Matcha green

Not only a delicious drink, but an even yummier color. Spring means the revival of nature. Green is coming back into our lives in the trees, so let's add some funky, fresh green into our wardrobes as well. This color has an edgier vibe, but can be paired with a nice pastel color like baby pink to give it a delicateness. This color looks best with a matcha from your favorite local cafe in hand, on a beautiful spring day.
Spring is a time to reset and refresh. Whether these colors feel right to you or not, make sure your wardrobes feel authentic, fresh and comfortable for YOU! Hopefully these colors can inspire you to find your ideal spring color palette. Stay blooming this spring season!
